Stiga Insta Play Table Tennis Table Review
The Stiga Insta-Play is a mid-range table that is fully assembled (hence the name “Insta Play”). Just remove the cardboard box packaging, setup the provided net and post, and you’re ready to slam away at your opponent! Price – around $444.86 USD.
Weighting in at 230 pounds, the Stiga Insta Play Table Tennis Table is a mid-range, yet innovative table. It’s major attraction, besides its minimal initial setup time, is its ability to break into two completely separate standing tables. You’re not only purchasing a ping pong table, you’re also buying two high quality, fold-up tables that easily fits in a basement or garage.
Stiga Insta Play Pros
From the many reviews about this table, customers who purchased the Stiga Insta-Play cannot stop raving about its “flawless” design and how “easy it is to setup”. It’s no secret that some table tennis tables take an entire afternoon to assemble (not to mention the weight of lifting the tabletops during assembly). For the Stiga Insta Play, it only takes 15-20 minutes to go from being fully packaged to smacking the ping pong ball back and forth.

The Bad…
After doing some research online, I found a couple horror stories about the Stiga Insta Play. One review suggested the tabletop to sag from just several months of storage in a basement. Another customer stated that the table came with missing parts. While both issues were eventually resolved, it’s worth mentioning in our comprehensive review.
OVERALL: 4.5 Out of 5 Stars
From the 18 comprehensive reviews found on amazon.com, the Stiga Insta Play received 4.5 out of 5 stars. I’ve personally played on this table and it’s really a great addition to any household. It’s easy to fold and put away since it completely breaks into two halves. While it is not professional quality table, for less than USD $500, it’s ideal for beginning to intermediate player.
