Definitely a top-quality, heavy duty table tennis table that is fit for professional play. In fact, it’s been the official table of the U.S Open since 1985 and also the official table of the U.S Nationals during the 1990s. Due to its sturdiness and solid under carriage, you’ll find the Stiga Expert Roller Table Tennis Table used in many sports clubs. Like the rest of Stiga’s Roller Series tables, the table is easy to fold and even more simple to store. It features a two piece design where each half of the table can be folded up individually and rolled away individually. Hence, you’ll find that each tabletop piece to be supported by four 4″ casters.
While the tables are usually left out in sports clubs, if necessary, Stiga’s Compact Storage System, or CSS for short, makes storing multiple Expert Rollers extremely, like it’s name, compact. This space saving technology allows each table half to fit flat against one another.

Does The Expert Roller Have A Down Side?
Yes and no. Unlike several of the tables Stiga offers that are fully assembled upon delivery, the Expert Roller does require assembly. Although the table comes with clear instructions in multiple languages, it still takes around 1 hour for assembly. While this may sound like a long time, table tennis tables are known for complex assemblies with some brands taking 3-4 hours!
Besides having to assemble the table, the only complaint I would have is the price, which is slightly on the steep side of things. While this is so, most top-notch professionals will cost above USD $1,000 and is really marketed for either more serious players or recreation clubs.
